Let Your Love of Nature Roam

Want to enjoy the fresh air and get picturesque views of the Northern Virginia landscape?  How about getting to witness the incredible fall foliage that people venture from all over the nation to see?

In Loudoun County, we have no shortage of trails where you break a sweat that are challenging, kid-friendly, and for every fitness level in between.

Some of our favorites include Raven Rocks Hike, Sugarloaf Mountain, and the Appalachian Trail.

LoCo Ale Trail 

A craft beer lover’s paradise, Loudoun County is home to 21 breweries with new ones joining the LoCo Ale Trail year after year.

With options to tour the trail by way of the Washington & Old Dominion bike trail aka the Brews by Bike Trail, via the Farm Breweries Trail, while exploring historic towns and roads on the Blue Ridge Trail, Monroe Trail or Mosby Trail, you can find a route to suit your tastes and activity level.

Wind Your Way Through Loudoun’s Wineries 

If wine is more your taste, Loudoun is also home to plenty of award-winning wineries and tasting rooms, 40 to be exact.

With so many to choose from, it can be hard to know where to begin, so we suggest taking a look at how Visit Loudoun broke out the Loudoun wine trail into six unique clusters that will take you through some of the most gorgeous scenic areas of the region.

Also, if you plan to spend a full day wining and dining with your guests or wedding party, we highly suggest investing in a designated driver through our preferred partners, Road Yachts, Virginia Rides, or Reston Limousine, so you can sit back and relax and know you’re making the best and safest choice!

Antique lovers, window shoppers, and history buffs will love all there is to do in Loudoun, which is fantastic for guests that will have some time to kill before your wedding celebration begins!
