Spring Happenings at East Lynn Farm

We can’t believe we’re already into the third month of the year; boy does time fly when you’re having fun! Before you know it, we’ll be in the heat of summertime.

Speaking of the heat, it’s been a little bit of a warmer winter this year, which our animals have certainly appreciated, but we’ve also enjoyed the weather as we’re busy bees preparing for a jam-packed upcoming season here at East Lynn.

One of the things we pride ourselves on is that we’re not just a wedding venue, we’re a real-deal working farm, and in addition to hosting beautiful celebrations of love, we also have a variety of other opportunities for our surrounding community members to enjoy all that East Lynn has to offer.

So, without further ado, here’s some things going on in the upcoming months that you’ll want to be sure to mark your calendar for (and get on our email list to be first in line for our RSVP events):

We’re so excited to announce that our seasonal and unique U-Pick CSA program is now accepting sign-ups (and they go fast, so be sure to secure your spot)!

Our CSA season lasts eight weeks from approximately July through the end of August (actual start date will depend on weather), and CSA members can come out to East Lynn Farm on specified weekdays and evenings to pick your shares from our large produce garden.

Be sure to read through more details as well as the FAQs here, and also take a look at one of our previous posts on the “3 Biggest Benefits You’ll Get Alongside Your CSA Produce.”

Hiring

We’re Hiring

As you can see, we’re going to be busy on the farm this year, and we need some helping hands to join our team!

We’re currently hiring for Weddings and Events Facilities Representatives as well as Apprentices, Summer Interns, and Seasonal Part/Full-Time Horticulture and Farming Assistants. If you or someone you know sounds like a great applicant, send in your resume or send them our way!

Get more details on the job specifics and how to apply here.

That about covers it for now, but be sure to sign up for our email list so you don’t miss any of the farm fun (don’t worry, we only email a few times a season at most). We don’t know about you, but we’d rather be getting our hands dirty and enjoying the sunshine rather than organizing our inbox.

And be sure to keep up with our day-to-day happenings on Facebook, Instagram, and Pinterest.

Hope to see you on the farm this spring and summer!
